It’s trivia time! In this episode we’re welcoming Tim to the Star Wars ranking team, and getting familiar with his knowledge of the force. We’re so excited to have Tim join our team, and what better way to kick off his debut with some good ole trivia! His favorite Star Wars movie is Solo. Yes, you read that correctly. It’s Solo! He recognizes it for what it is. He understands it’s not the high stakes, world-ending, Skywalker-related story, but it’s quirky and just what Star Wars fans need. However, it’s not his top ranked movie. Check out his list below. I’m sure we’ll dig into further explanations from him in the future.

In order to catch him up to our tally, we decided to ask Tim all of our trivia questions from previous episodes. We also had some audience members getting in on the action. Tim fared quite well, securing second place right behind Amanda on our leaderboard. He also answered the question from our Attack of the Clones episode the exact same way I did (go back and listen). Proving it was rigged!
“What is the highest rank one can achieve in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War era?”
We enjoyed ourselves and the audience while crushing trivia. Well, some of us crushed it. We had some knowledgeable followers adding some helpful information while discussing fun facts of the movies. For example, did you know George Lucas played Baron Papanoida in Revenge of the Sith? I think we all learned something fun during this episode.

We capped off the night discussing our favorite Boba Fett moments of all time. While it’s hard to pick just one, I love watching Boba Fett ride the rancor in the finale of The Book of Boba Fett. This was an awesome moment given to us fans of the Expanded Universe, knowing his rich history with conquering majestic beasts and finally getting to see it done so well on screen. It gets me pumped! Amanda and Brody’s favorite moment is when Boba Fett unleashes his wrath onto the stormtroopers in The Mandalorian season two. Tim’s top moment is in The Clone Wars, when young Boba is pretending to be a cloneling, blasting all of the training droids. Brody is not a true critique.
We featured a hot take submitted by one of our listeners, calling out Brody on his “perfect” praise for Chapter 6 of The Book of Boba Fett: From the Desert Comes a Stranger. Sure, it leaves Brody in a tough spot if we have better content to rank. However, there can be multiple “perfect” pieces of Star Wars content. We’re not afraid to doll out top scores…if they’ve earned it.
